Accenture Construct - GIS Manager, COM

Description You've Never Been Satisfied with “Good Enough.” You didn't get into this to manage one piece of a project. You got into it to change how the world gets built. At Accenture Construct, that's the job. You'll help deliver the data centers, power grids, rail networks, factories and public infrastructure that keep communities moving — smarter, safer and more sustainably. You'll work alongside people who think big and act bold: project managers, engineers, technologists and strategists who pair real-world delivery with AI. And you won't be handed a slice of it. We take on whole programs, from early strategy through construction and handover, and we stand behind how they land. Because “good enough” builds the past. You're here to build what's next (Internal Title: CAD IV) Manage the day-to-day delivery of program-specific GIS solutions and the workload of a small GIS team, including prioritization, assignment of work, coaching, and quality review. Personally perform a substantial portion of the GIS delivery work, including spatial analysis, data preparation, map and application development, ETL/automation, integrations, publishing, testing, troubleshooting, and data-quality activities. Supervise and mentor GIS Specialists and Technicians while working alongside them on technical deliverables and resolving delivery issues. Work with program stakeholders to understand delivery needs, clarify requirements, and translate them into practical geospatial products and workflows. Apply program GIS standards, metadata requirements, QA/QC controls, and data-management practices, and perform or review spatial validation, analysis, geoprocessing, and issue resolution. Configure, administer, develop, and maintain ArcGIS Enterprise/Online/Pro solutions, enterprise geodatabases, web maps, dashboards, Experience Builder applications, Survey123, Field Maps, and related GIS products. Design and implement program-level GIS solutions and integrations, coordinating with the Senior Manager and enterprise technology teams where architecture, security, environment, or platform decisions extend beyond the team. Design, build, and maintain spatial-data integration and ETL workflows using tools such as FME, Python/ArcPy, SQL, APIs, and ModelBuilder. Integrate CAD, BIM, survey, field-collected, tabular, and other project information into GIS environments and ensure that spatial data is usable for program reporting and decision support. Maintain practical documentation, repeatable workflows, onboarding procedures, and training materials while managing near-term schedules, workload, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations. Complete any tasks assigned by the Supervisor in an efficient and timely manner Working Conditions Office-based With all our roles, there is some in-person time for collaboration, learning and building relationships with clients, peers, leaders and communities. As an employer, we will be as flexible as possible to support your specific work/life needs Requirements Post-secondary degree, diploma, certificate, or equivalent credential with a formal educational background in GIS, geomatics, geographic information science, or a program with a substantial GIS specialization. 10+ years of professional GIS experience, preferably within infrastructure, transportation, utilities, engineering, construction, municipal, or other complex enterprise environments. Role Location Annual Salary Range Ontario $120,000 to $170,000 WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU The biggest builds going. Hyperscale data centers, grid and generation, transit and rail, chip fabs, mines, water. If it's complex and it matters, it's on our list. You own the outcome. Not a workstream. Not a deliverable. Whether the program lands. AI that shows up on site. Program control that predicts instead of records. You'll use it, and you'll help shape it. Scale without the distance. More than 5,000 practitioners across the Americas, EMEA and APAC, on a team small enough that people know your name. Serious investment in you. Leadership development, technical upskilling and certification support. Work that outlasts you. People will use what you build for forty years without knowing your name. That's the point. Recognition that means something in this industry. Accenture Construct is ranked #6 globally in ENR's 2026 Top 50 Program Management Firms and #4 in Building Design + Construction's Top 80 Construction Management Firms for 2026. ABOUT ACCENTURE CONSTRUCT Accenture Construct (https://www.accenture.com/en/construct/about) is Accenture's global capital projects business. The data centers behind AI. We plan them, engineer them, deliver them and hand them over — and unlike most of this market, we're on the hook for whether they land on time. More than 5,000 practitioners across the Americas, EMEA and APAC. One team that owns the whole thing.
