Climate Resilience Expert

Location: Türkiye /Istanbul Employment: Full-time or Part time We are expanding our multidisciplinary consulting team and are looking for a Climate Resilience Expert to contribute to urban resilience, climate adaptation, sustainability, and strategic planning projects across Türkiye and the region. Key Responsibilities Lead climate resilience and adaptation assessments for cities and regions. Prepare climate risk and vulnerability assessments. Contribute to Sustainable Urban Development and GCAP projects. Support environmental, land-use, and spatial planning studies. Develop GIS-based analyses, maps, and spatial datasets. Prepare technical reports and presentations in English. Collaborate with international financial institutions and public authorities. Requirements Bachelor's or Master's degree in Urban Planning, Environmental Planning, Environmental Engineering, Geography, Climate Studies, Regional Planning, or a related discipline. Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience. Excellent written and spoken English. Strong analytical and report-writing skills. Technical Skills Microsoft Office (advanced) ArcGIS / QGIS Netcad Google Earth Engine AI productivity tools (ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini, etc.) Spatial analysis and mapping experience Preferred Qualifications Experience with World Bank, EBRD, ADB, or EU-funded projects. Knowledge of climate adaptation, GHG inventories, and resilience frameworks. Experience in stakeholder engagement and municipal planning.
