About the Role

Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, is seeking a client focused problem-solver to join our collaborative and innovative GIS team Milwaukee, WI area office. Responsibilities Include Utilizing ESRI GIS software to manage, analyze, and visualize data Conducting spatial analysis and applying geoprocessing techniques to support municipal projects Creating high-quality maps and interactive web maps for presentations and reports Collaborating with team members to design and maintain geospatial databases, ensuring data integrity and efficient data retrieval Assisting in the development and implementation of geospatial workflows and standards Staying up to date on the latest GIS technologies, tools, and methodologies Effectively communicating GIS findings and analysis to both technical and non-technical stakeholders through written reports and presentations This position may require work to be performed on-site at a project site. Some travel may be required. The Successful Candidate Will Have Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in geography, GIS, history or related field --OR-- If no degree, at least four (4) years of relevant professional experience The Ideal Candidate Will Have Any/all Of The Following GIS internship experience Proficiency in ESRI GIS software and related tools (ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, Survey 123, Field Maps) Experience collecting geospatial data Fieldwork experience Proficiency in cartographic principles, map design, and visualization techniques Experience with local government municipal GIS projects and clients (public works, utilities, community development) If you have strong communication and organizational skills, are self-motivated, and can work well both independently and as part of a team, complete the online application process for this job posting at www.meadhunt.com/careers.
