Company Description Town Plan Map is focused on simplifying land ownership complexities in India by building clear, accessible digital mapping solutions. The company aims to make property information more transparent, reliable, and easy to understand for individuals, businesses, and institutions. By leveraging technology and data, Town Plan Map seeks to reduce confusion and disputes related to land records. The team works on user-centric tools that help people navigate legal, geographic, and administrative aspects of land ownership more confidently. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Full Stack Engineer role based in Ahmedabad. The Full Stack Engineer will develop, maintain, and optimize applications mobile and web that support Town Plan Map’s land ownership and mapping solutions. Design, build, and maintain features across the mobile app and backend, from user interface to data and server logic. Develop and improve the interactive map experience, a core part of the product. Build and maintain user-facing flows such as property/document search, document requests, and account management. Integrate and maintain third-party services for login, payments, and notifications. Build and maintain backend services that fetch, process, and store property and document data. Maintain the automated pipeline that retrieves official property records and turns them into readable, summarized reports for users. Ensure data is accurate, secure, and reliably synced between the app and backend. Monitor app performance and stability, and quickly diagnose and fix issues in production. Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews. Collaborate with design and product to translate requirements into working features. Support multi-language functionality across the app. Help scale the platform to new cities and regions. Keep the app working smoothly across Android, iOS, and Web. Participate in ongoing improvements to the app's design and user experience. Eligibility Minimum 3 years of professional software development experience (mandatory) Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience Track record of shipping and maintaining production applications, not just side projects Qualifications True full stack: comfortable front end and back end, ships features end-to-end with minimal hand-holding Owned both app/UI and server/data layers on a real deployed product Can pick up new stacks fast — work spans Angular/Ionic , Flutter, Firebase/GCP, and Next.js depending on the project Integrates third-party APIs/SDKs (payments, OTP/login, maps, notifications) Product thinking — weighs in on what to build, not just how Basic design sense, doesn't need a designer for every UI call Ownership mentality, thrives on a small team wearing multiple hats Likes fast iterative building with AI coding tools (e.g. Claude Code) over long upfront planning Nice to have Proptech, GIS, or high-scale consumer app experience Maps/geospatial/location-based products Experience with scraping/data pipelines that clean up messy data Real estate, fintech, or govtech domain background Multi-language/locale app experience Show more Show less
