Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain web-based GIS applications and geospatial tools. Integrate CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) simulations—particularly using OpenFOAM—into operational workflows. Collaborate with engineering and geospatial teams to translate requirements into robust software solutions. Participate in field and office-based activities (50% each), supporting data collection, validation, and analysis. Requirements: Degree in Computer Engineering, Geomatics, or a related technical field (or equivalent vocational training). Proven experience in: - Web development (full stack: frontend + backend). - Geospatial data processing and GIS technologies. - RESTful API development and integration. - Version control with Git. - Working in Linux environments. Knowledge of CFD tools, especially OpenFOAM, is highly valued. Must be resident in Almería.
