General Manager - Annotation and Labeling / GIS Operations

Job Description Our client is looking for an experienced General Manager – Operations to lead large-scale GIS, Annotation & Labeling, Utility, and Mapping operations . \n \nKey Responsibilities \n \n* Lead end-to-end GIS and Annotation & Labeling operations, including planning, resource allocation, delivery, quality, and budgets. \n* Manage large, diverse teams and drive operational excellence, productivity, and continuous improvement. \n* Build and maintain strong relationships with international clients and senior stakeholders . \n* Understand client requirements and ensure delivery meets quality, timelines, and business expectations. \n* Drive adoption of new GIS technologies, tools, and operational best practices. \n* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver strategic business initiatives. \n* Mentor leadership teams and build a culture of innovation, agility, and continuous improvement. \n* Represent the organization in leadership meetings, client discussions, conferences, and industry events. \n \n \nRequirements \n \n* 18+ years of overall experience , with 10+ years in Operations Management . \n* Strong experience in GIS / Annotation & Labeling / Utility / Mapping / Engineering Services . \n* Strong understanding of the Utility and Mapping ecosystem , client dynamics, and competitive landscape. \n* Proven experience managing large teams and complex operations. \n* Strong customer relationship management skills at mid-to-executive levels. \n* Experience working with Tier-1 GIS, Utility, Mapping, or Engineering Services clients . \n* Strong stakeholder management and international client-facing experience. \n* PMP / PRINCE2 / equivalent Project Management certification preferred/required. \n* Familiarity with project management tools such as MS Project, Jira , etc. \n \n
