Enbridge is recruiting a Geographic Information System (GIS) Advisor to join our Gas Distribution & Storage GIS team in Edmonton.
In this role, you will oversee gas utility asset mapping, spatial data management, LRS maintenance, and GIS integration with distribution field operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Utility Spatial Data Management: Maintain gas distribution spatial assets, pressure boundary layers, and pipe attribute tables in Esri Utility Network.
Field Automation: Deploy and maintain mobile GIS solutions (Field Maps, ArcGIS QuickCapture) for leak survey and pipeline replacement crews.
System Integration: Integrate GIS spatial layers with SAP asset management and SCADA operational systems.
Spatial Analytics: Perform spatial buffer analysis, outage impact modeling, and capital planning spatial reporting.
Team Leadership: Provide technical guidance to GIS specialists and drafting technicians.
Qualifications:
Degree or Diploma in GIS, Geomatics, Geography, or related technical discipline.
5+ years experience in utility GIS operations (natural gas, electric, or water utility network experience).
Experience with Esri Utility Network, ArcGIS Pro, and enterprise geodatabases.
Proficiency with Python, FME, and SQL for spatial ETL.
