GIS Specialist – KOC Project Location: South Kuwait Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary We are looking for an experienced GIS Specialist to manage and maintain GIS data, support spatial analysis, and prepare accurate maps and reports for project and operational requirements. Requirements Bachelor’s degree (B.Sc. / B.A.) in Geomatics, GIS, Computer Science, or an equivalent field. Minimum 5 years of professional experience in data management, preferably with GIS experience. Strong knowledge of GIS systems, spatial data, mapping, and data management. Experience with ArcGIS, ArcGIS Pro, QGIS, or similar GIS software is preferred. Good understanding of GIS databases, coordinate systems, and spatial data formats. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills. Good communication and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Key Responsibilities Manage, organize, update, and maintain GIS and spatial datasets. Collect, process, validate, and analyze geographic and non-geographic data. Prepare and update digital maps, GIS layers, and databases. Perform data quality checks to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness. Conduct spatial analysis and support GIS-related project requirements. Integrate data from different sources and formats into GIS systems. Maintain proper documentation of GIS data and related records. Coordinate with engineering, technical, and other departments to collect and verify required information. Prepare GIS reports, maps, and other data outputs as required. Identify and resolve data errors, inconsistencies, and quality issues. Support continuous improvement of GIS and data management processes.
