Geographic Information Systems Analyst

Seeking an energetic and self-motivated candidate with geospatial analysis and mapping experience in the field of environmental design/planning, particularly in the area of ecosystem restoration. The position will primarily entail conducting site searches and developing conceptual restoration designs and other GIS figures needed to support real estate acquisition, advance business development opportunities, and support ongoing projects and programs. This position will also include managing the development of GIS and/or CAD-based work products; organizing and maintaining digital files; maintaining the organization's in-house GIS database; inventorying, managing, and updating related hardware and software; overseeing GIS and/or CAD production efforts by team members; and interfacing with various departments, including operations, business development, land acquisition, and legal. Minimum Skills & Experience •Bachelor’s degree in Water Resources, Environmental Science, Ecology, Geography, Civil Engineering, Landscape Architecture, or related field. •Experience using ArcGIS Pro is required** •Experience configuring and uploading data into field-collection instruments, like handheld GPS and Total Station units, and downloading and post-processing the collected datasets. •Proven ability to organize, analyze, and process geospatial data and produce accurate and visually appealing cartographic output.
