Key Responsibilities
GIS Research & Data Management
Create, update, and maintain construction project information and client reports.
Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and quality of GIS data through regular quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) activities.
Utilize GIS software and mapping tools to develop, edit, and validate spatial data.
Manage project workflows to ensure deliverables are completed within agreed service levels.
Respond to client enquiries promptly and professionally.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance data quality and operational efficiency.
Perform project editing, validation, and quality checking of work completed by GIS Analysts.
Assist with ad hoc projects and additional duties as assigned.
Represent Hubexo professionally when communicating with industry contacts and clients.
Uphold company policies, values, and Workplace Health & Safety (OH&S) standards.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential
Bachelor's degree in Geography, Geomatics, GIS, Surveying, Urban Planning, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
At least 1-2 years of experience in GIS, mapping, spatial data management, or a related research environment.
Previous experience leading, mentoring, or supervising a small team.
Strong working knowledge of GIS software such as ArcGIS, QGIS, or similar platforms.
Experience working with spatial databases, digital maps, and geospatial data.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
Experience using internet research tools and databases.
Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Customer-focused with the ability to respond professionally to client enquiries.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced environment.
Desirable
Experience in the construction, engineering, property, or infrastructure industries.
Knowledge of AutoCAD, CAD drawings, or construction plans.
Experience with spatial analysis and geospatial reporting.
Knowledge of SQL or database management.
Experience with quality assurance and process improvement methodologies.
Familiarity with Agile or Lean working practices.
Experience working with international or shared services teams.
