Geographic Information Systems Consultant

ODEM is inviting expressions of interest from suitably qualified GIS Specialists for a proposed 24-month subcontracting engagement supporting a regional technical assignment. The consultant will contribute to the development of GIS-based data solutions, interactive mapping, dashboards, spatial visualisation and integrated data systems, working as part of a multidisciplinary technical team, and must be a national or resident in Grenada. Required Qualifications Applicants should demonstrate: • A minimum of a Master’s degree in Data Science, Informatics, Geographic Information Systems, or a related field. • Substantial and demonstrated experience developing interactive maps and dashboards using ArcGIS, R Shiny applications, and related tools and services. • A proven track record in deploying functional GIS-based dashboards and integrated data systems. • Demonstrated experience using prominent visualisation tools such as SurveyCTO, Tableau, Power BI and/or Qlik. • Experience with good software engineering practices, including unit testing, technical documentation, code encapsulation and version control systems such as Git. • Basic knowledge of Continuous Integration principles and tools.
