About the Role

TEHORA is currently seeking a Geomatics Engineer to carry out various operational and project management tasks related to the deployment of geospatial solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, coordinate, and monitor geospatial projects;
Acquire, store, update, convert, and validate geospatial data using technologies such as total stations, GPS, photogrammetry, mobile terrestrial imaging, satellite imagery, and LiDAR;
Model and structure geospatial databases and propose enhancements;
Design, program, maintain, and document ETL processes for data processing, integration, quality control, and dissemination;
Design, develop, implement, test, and maintain tools for production, mapping, and geospatial information dissemination;
Participate in preparing proposals, managing suppliers, and ensuring quality control of deliverables;
Analyze business needs, conduct feasibility studies, and contribute to business process optimization;
Perform thematic, spatial, and statistical analyses and produce maps, atlases, reports, and data extracts;
Design symbol and cartographic style libraries;
Support the implementation of geospatial business solutions and collaborate on architecture documentation;
Contribute to defining standards and best practices, document processes, and provide user training and support;
Provide Level 2 support for geospatial systems and collaborate with external partners.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in geomatics engineering, geomatics sciences, or applied geomatics for the environment; or
Bachelor’s degree in a related field and a graduate diploma (DESS, Master’s, or PhD) in geomatics; or
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or software engineering; or
College Diploma (DEC) in geomatics technology; or
Any other diploma deemed relevant based on the tasks to be performed;
Additional Experience Requirements:
If holding a university degree: minimum 5 years of significant experience in geomatics involving the use of the required tools;
If holding a technical diploma or equivalent: minimum 10 years of significant experience in geomatics involving the use of the required tools.

Salary
Salary will be calculated based on the average hourly rate corresponding to your profile.
Work Location
Terrebonne – Remote work with possibility of on-site work.
