Job Title: Geomatics Engineer – Land Surveyor
After completing an in-depth training program at the Strukton Geomatics Academy, you will be responsible for executing topographic surveys on assigned construction sites. Your role covers both the pre-project phase (baseline measurements, design support, etc.) and on-site supervision during project execution.
You will utilize state-of-the-art surveying techniques, including high-precision trolley-based measurements, laser scanning, inertial measurement units (IMU), and machine guidance systems. At all times, you will ensure accurate data processing and deliver finalized datasets to the Head of Geomatics Engineering.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct precise topographic surveys (baseline, as-built, verification)
Support design and planning phases with accurate geospatial data
Supervise field operations during project execution
Apply advanced surveying methods: trolley-based measurement, terrestrial/laser scanning, IMU, machine guidance
Ensure high-quality data processing and timely delivery to project teams
Analyze and implement technical specifications and guidelines
Collaborate effectively in multidisciplinary teams and independently
Requirements
Completed higher technical education in Surveying/Geomatics
Accurate, stress-resistant, creative, and results-oriented mindset
Enthusiastic about fieldwork and infrastructure geometry; enjoys both independent and team-based tasks
Strong interest in geometry applied to large-scale infrastructure projects
Ability to interpret and apply technical documentation
Proficient in PC use and CAD software
Fluent in Dutch; comfortable with French (written and spoken)
Willing to travel across Belgium and work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
Based centrally in Belgium
