About the Role
JATCO is hiring a Geomatics Specialist I for an oil & gas project in Saudi Arabia.
Responsibilities:
Geomatics, mapping and hydrographic surveys
Hydrographic data processing and nautical chart production
ENC and paper chart production, including ENC encryption and distribution
QA/QC of geomatics and charting products
Notice to Mariners updates
2D/3D spatial analysis
Leading survey and drafting teams
3D laser scanning projects
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Hydrography (Cat B), Cartography (Cat B), Geomatics or Survey Engineering, or a related field
At least 10 years of experience in nautical/marine cartography (ENCs, paper charts, hydrographic processing and survey operations)
Preferred:
3 years of onboard vessel experience
ArcGIS, CARIS, MicroStation, CAD
Oil & gas or offshore experience
