About This Opportunity
WSP Brasil is seeking a Geoprocessing Analyst 2 to support the development and implementation of geospatial solutions for environmental consulting projects. The role involves not only producing spatial analyses and cartographic products, but also participating in the implementation of digital tools, GIS applications, field data collection, and emerging technologies for geographic information management and visualization.
This position is intended for professionals with experience in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), an analytical mindset, and interest in innovation, who wish to work with technologies such as ArcGIS Online, Survey123, Experience Builder, drones, process automation, and enterprise geospatial solutions, based in our Rio de Janeiro/RJ or Belo Horizonte/MG office.
Key Responsibilities
Create thematic maps, cartographic documents, and geospatial products, ensuring technical quality and visual standardization;
Perform advanced spatial analyses using geoprocessing and modeling tools—including map algebra, terrain modeling, hydrological analysis, surface analysis, and spatial data modeling;
Structure, organize, and maintain corporate geographic databases;
Develop and support digital solutions using GIS platforms, especially ArcGIS Online;
Configure and support geospatial applications, dashboards, web maps, and field data collection tools;
Support initiatives related to drone usage, image processing, and integration of geospatial data;
Participate in GIS workflow automation and optimization projects;
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop geospatial solutions for environmental studies and projects;
Contribute to identifying and implementing new technologies and best practices in geoprocessing;
Work in accordance with WSP’s internal standards, cartographic norms, and procedures.
Required Qualifications
Completed undergraduate degree in Geography, Engineering, Geology, Earth Sciences, Information Technology, or related fields;
Knowledge of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and geoprocessing;
Experience with ArcGIS Pro;
Familiarity with ArcGIS Online and data sharing;
Experience with Esri applications such as Survey123, Dashboards, Experience Builder, or Field Maps;
Knowledge of structuring and managing geographic databases;
Interest in technology, innovation, and digital solution development;
Collaborative profile with continuous learning and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with ArcGIS platforms and the Esri ecosystem;
Experience with drones (flight planning, image processing, or use of derived products);
Knowledge of remote sensing and image interpretation;
Experience automating geospatial processes using Python, ModelBuilder, Notebooks, or equivalent tools;
Knowledge of spatial databases;
Experience in environmental, infrastructure, energy, or mining projects;
Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning applied to geospatial analysis;
Familiarity with GPS/GNSS and field data processing tools;
Knowledge of Power BI, Excel, or data visualization platforms;
Intermediate or advanced English proficiency.
