About the Role

As a Geospatial Surveyor at Gridmark Survey, you’ll join our geospatial services team, delivering accurate, high-quality surveys across the North East. Location We are based in Castle Eden, County Durham. This role with be a combination of office-based work with regular travel to project sites across the North East. Key Responsibilities Carry out and assist with topographical, utility, measured building, laser scanning, drone, monitoring, hydrographic, stockpile, volumetric, as-built and setting-out surveys. Produce 2D/3D drawings, models and registered/processed point-cloud data. Assist with site preparation, documentation and client communication. Use and develop skills in new surveying technologies, techniques and software. Resolve practical surveying and development challenges. Provide technical support to clients and colleagues. Experience & Skills Minimum 3 years’ land surveying experience. Full UK driving licence is essential for this role. Experience with Total Stations, GPS, laser scanners and AutoCAD. Experience with TPS/GPS, drones, LiDAR and/or hydrographic surveying. Competent in AutoCAD, LSS, N4ce, Pix4D or similar software. Experience processing survey data and producing survey reports. Good knowledge of surveying, utilities and construction. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
