GIS Analyst for State of Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE) applications via DTMB, posted through Knowledge Services / xseed (job ID 1661).
Long-term contract projected until 9/30/27 with potential to extend or convert depending on business need. Hybrid schedule (non-negotiable): Wednesdays and Thursdays on-site. Candidates must be local within 90 miles of Lansing at submission. No visa sponsorship. Bachelor's degree required (foreign degrees accepted if evaluated as U.S. equivalent). The analyst supports multiple highly complex EGLE applications, collaborates with development staff and project managers, develops solutions and streamlines spatial data needs through maintenance and modification of web, client-server, or mobile applications, and may also support DNR and MDARDs Application Development needs. Work must follow DTMB and client standards.
Required experience includes:
4 years GIS, cartography, CADD, or related
4 years developing UIs/menus/macros plus complex spatial analyses and customer reports
ArcGIS Online and Portal; Builder; Dashboards; basemaps, tile cache, imagery analysis
Advanced SQL/SSIS for spatial databases, scripts, stored procedures, functions, triggers, metadata
Unit/system/regression/automated testing
2 years C#.NET, VB.NET, ASP.NET, XML, AJAX, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, T-SQL, TypeScript, Power Apps
ADA compliance knowledge (1+ years)
Preferred: MS ADO, GIT, MS Office, Helix, Angular.
