GIS Analyst

Leveraging its core product—a highly accurate, continuously updated digital map covering all 34 provinces—we serve diverse customers, including consumers and businesses, with applications such as car navigation software, GPS navigation devices, and GPS tracking & fleet management systems. To expand and strengthen our geospatial data team, VIETMAP is hiring a GIS Analyst to support spatial data processing and analysis. Job Responsibilities: Review and standardize GIS data from multiple sources. Analyze, process, and visualize GIS data. Update digital maps and geospatial databases. Prepare periodic reports and provide analytical support for projects. Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in GIS or a related field (e.g., Geography, Information Technology). Proficiency in QGIS, SQL, and other GIS analysis tools. Strong logical thinking and analytical skills, with prior experience working with spatial data. Clear reporting, problem-solving, and data presentation abilities. Diligent, detail-oriented, and capable of working both independently and collaboratively in a team. Preference given to candidates with hands-on GIS experience. Knowledge of Python (Pandas, GeoPandas) for automating mapping and data conversion workflows is a strong plus.
