The ideal candidate should have 1–2 years of hands-on experience in GIS mapping with strong working knowledge of QGIS and ArcGIS . The candidate will be responsible for creating, editing, analyzing, validating, and maintaining geospatial data while ensuring that all mapping outputs meet defined project specifications, quality standards, and client requirements. This role requires strong attention to detail, spatial understanding, analytical ability, and the ability to work independently in a structured, process-driven environment. Role Responsibilities The selected candidate will be responsible for: Map and label objects in images as per project guidelines. Review tags and identify missed, incorrect, or duplicate objects. Verify images are uploaded to the correct assigned tools. Perform quality checks and correct mapping errors. Maintain dataset accuracy and follow defined SOPs. Support dataset preparation, Train/Valid splitting, and dataset version creation. Escalate unclear images, project mismatches, or process issues to the concerned team. Required Technical Skills The following skills are mandatory: Experience working in GIS Software’s, CAD or other drawing tools Practical experience in GIS mapping and spatial data editing. Excellent attention to detail and visual observation skills. Good computer and internet skills. Ability to follow detailed instructions and SOPs. Strong focus on accuracy and quality. Ability to work independently on repetitive, detail-oriented tasks. Good English communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to meet daily productivity and turnaround-time requirements. Willingness to learn new GIS tools, technologies, and client-specific processes. Hands-on experience with QGIS and ArcGIS is mandatory. Candidates should be comfortable working extensively on a computer and handling detailed spatial datasets.
