GIS Analyst (FME Specialist)

GIS Analyst (FME Specialist) £21.53 per hour | Remote - Mainland UK based only | Contract until 31st March 2027 We're recruiting for an experienced GIS Analyst to join a major environmental organisation and support a key woodland programme. Joining an established project, you'll play a vital role in developing and maintaining geospatial data workflows, with FME (Feature Manipulation Engine) experience being essential. Key Responsibilities Develop, maintain and improve geospatial workflows using FME. Automate data processing, integration and quality assurance activities. Manage, analyse and transform complex environmental and ecological datasets. Create mapping products, spatial datasets and decision-support tools. Work closely with technical specialists and ecological experts to interpret survey data. Document workflows and communicate technical information to non-technical audiences. Ensure data management activities comply with GDPR requirements. About You Strong GIS experience. Proven experience using FME (Feature Manipulation Engine). Experience creating automated data workflows. Knowledge of environmental and ecological datasets. Strong understanding of spatial data management and analysis. Knowledge of GDPR and data governance principles. Able to manage complex datasets and communicate with a wide range of stakeholders.
