GIS Analyst for Land Mapping Projects

Utilize your GIS skills as an Analyst within the GeoData Services team, focusing on maintaining ParcelMap BC's precision and quality standards. Your role will be pivotal in enhancing parcel mapping. With direct reporting to the Manager, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders and surveyors to ensure effective dataset integration and parcel updates. This position offers the opportunity to improve business processes while providing expert input through workshops and feedback sessions about operational items. Key Responsibilities: • Manage updates for parcel fabric per defined standards • Collaborate with customers and stakeholders regularly • Assure quality of the fabric through various assessments • Participate in testing new GIS technologies and processes • Work on continuous improvement of business workflows Requirements: • Diploma or equivalent in Surveying or GIS • Experience in spatial data management in GIS • Knowledge of parcel fabric systems is valuable • Familiarity with GIS software tools is preferred • Strong teamwork and analytical mindset Bring analytical expertise and effective communication to enhance the quality of land mapping projects within ParcelMap BC.
