The Thompson-Nicola Regional District seeks a GIS Analyst I to assist in organizing geographical data for government services. This role reports to the GIS Supervisor and involves maintaining spatial and tabular data. You will help create maps, troubleshoot applications, and develop user-friendly reports that serve multiple departments and the public. Key Responsibilities: Maintain spatial and related tabular data for GIS projects Create electronic and hardcopy maps for various uses Troubleshoot enterprise applications and provide solutions Develop project specifications and monitor task progress Deliver training materials and assist in EOC as needed Requirements: GIS diploma or degree, or equivalent experience 1-5 years of GIS-related work experience Proficient with Esri Desktop and ArcGIS software Strong cartographic skills and project lifecycle knowledge Effective communication and relationship-building skills Bring your GIS expertise and analytical skills to support the Thompson-Nicola Regional District's mission in Kamloops.
