About the Role
Position Mission:
Analyze, plan, and execute technical activities for the management and production of geospatial data, in accordance with company-defined methodologies and standards.
Education and Experience:
Completed Bachelor’s degree.
Technical Skills:
Advanced GIS knowledge;
Proficiency with ESRI solutions and products;
Understanding of the origins and fundamental concepts of technologies and methodologies for geographic data acquisition;
Knowledge of geographic data sources, including acquisition methods (remote sensing, field surveys, aerophotogrammetry) and national (IBGE, INPE, CPRM) and international (USGS, NASA, FAO, etc.) data providers;
Familiarity with major metadata standards;
Strong use of Artificial Intelligence tools for data manipulation, creation, processing, and loading.
Preferred Skills:
Systems and business specifications;
CAD knowledge;
PDI (Image Processing) software knowledge;
Remote Sensing, Geodesy, Cartography, Spatial Analysis, GIS, and Web GIS;
Understanding of Imagem’s products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
Support executive project planning for geospatial and alphanumeric data acquisition, processing, and management—conducting technical assessments and analyzing required inputs based on qualitative and quantitative criteria;
Interpret technical specifications for components and solution requirements (services or products);
Analyze and produce technical specification documents for components and solution requirements;
Edit data in geodatabases and create simple geoprocessing models; create, edit, and explore geographic data in ArcGIS Pro; design simple map layouts and share maps;
Utilize ArcGIS functionalities—including tools for visualizing, creating, managing, and analyzing geographic data—applying core components and features of the ArcGIS Platform (Server, Mobile, Pro, Online, and extensions), and identifying appropriate use cases;
Leverage ArcGIS tools and functions to develop efficient GIS workflows;
Perform and apply geodatabase modeling using versioning, network elements, and complex geoprocessing models;
Apply the ArcGIS platform to conduct spatial analyses and automate processes;
Create and apply dynamic cartographic elements and design complex map layouts;
Apply advanced ArcGIS functionalities to visualize, create, manage, and analyze geographic data;
Apply geospatial technologies across Imagem’s various vertical business areas;
Recommend appropriate working scales for solving diverse geographic problems;
Resolve distortion issues and understand specific characteristics of geographic data based on their source;
Demonstrate ArcGIS proficiency and propose improvements to tools for visualizing, creating, managing, and analyzing geographic data, while supporting the team;
Develop and propose enhancements to solutions based on ESRI products;
Suggest improvements to ArcGIS tools and functions to create efficient GIS workflows;
Master key ArcGIS extensions and propose innovative uses;
Create and structure new methodologies for geoprocessing service execution, estimation, and quality control—preferably using AI tools.
