GIS Application Developer/Programmer

Physical Demands Work is performed in an office environment with occasional field survey assignments. This position is eligible for up to two (2) days a week of telework. Minimum Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. Experience: Three (3) years of relevant technical experience with one year of professional GIS / web application development experience. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Proficient with Esri ArcGIS Web Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) and Software Development Kits (SDKs) (ArcGIS Maps SDK for JavaScript). Knowledge of GIS and database fundamentals. Skill in the use of Esri ArcGIS product suite and ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Enterprise/Server REST service design and management. Skill in the use of Esri Web AppBuilder, Experience Builder, and ArcGIS Dashboards. Proficiency in Arcade and developing SQL queries. Advanced knowledge of Python and GIS -relevant programing and scripting methods. Knowledge of modern web design and development practices in the context of tabular and spatial data presentation. Proficient in HTML , CSS , JavaScript, and ability to assimilate new programming languages and technologies. Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong technical communication and documentation skills.
