Within the Applications Networks department, you will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and evolving IT applications related to GIS and FME within an ESRI ecosystem. You will lead your team to ensure continuous application service delivery while aligning solutions with the company’s strategic objectives. As Application Manager, you act as a reference point for teams and oversee project and enhancement requests in collaboration with other IT units, business units, and technical teams. More concretely: Contribute to the coherence and seamless integration of GIS applications to support business operations. Analyze requirements, participate in application studies, and ensure proposed solutions are fit-for-purpose. Participate in prioritizing projects and enhancement requests based on strategic goals and available resources. Oversee application maintenance, updates, and enhancements. Provide functional and technical user support and manage incidents to ensure rapid resolution. Maintain up-to-date technical and functional documentation. Train users and technical teams on new tools and updates. Report regularly to the Department Head. Coordinate one or more project teams. Drive integration of applications with other systems and manage inter-project dependencies. Promote continuous improvement and propose innovative solutions. Continuously develop your expertise and attend relevant training. Are You Our Ideal Candidate? You Have: A Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, geography, geomatics, information systems, energy, or equivalent experience. Minimum 2 years of experience with GIS. Prior experience managing a team. Experience managing IT applications and/or projects. Excellent command of French and good command of English to participate in meetings. Knowledge of the ArcGIS Enterprise platform and its components. Knowledge of FME (Form / Flow) for data integration and transformation. Experience in the utilities sector is a plus. Comfortable interacting with diverse stakeholders (IT, business units, field staff, middle management, consultants, etc.). Capable of leading teams, communicating effectively, and fostering a positive team dynamic. Curious, eager to learn, and at ease in technical discussions. Empathetic, flexible, and able to quickly synthesize key information. Autonomous and proactive in taking initiative.
