GIS Consultant

AtkinsRéalis is seeking an experienced and solution-oriented GIS Consultant to join its Highways & Transportation team based in Dublin. The role involves collaborating with colleagues to develop digital and geospatial solutions for clients across highways, transportation, infrastructure, and environment sectors. Responsibilities include supporting multi-disciplinary teams with spatial data analysis and mapping solutions; creating high-quality cartographic products using ESRI tools for field planning, reporting, and presentations; developing and maintaining web-based mapping applications such as ArcGIS Online for data visualization and dissemination; enabling mobile data collection for field crews using GPS-enabled devices and ESRI Field Maps; performing spatial data processing including capture, conversion, and translation; and managing geodatabases while ensuring data integrity through archiving and cleanup. Requirements include a Level 8 degree or equivalent in GIS or geospatial systems, relevant post-graduate experience in ArcGIS Enterprise, proficiency with ESRI tools and platforms including ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, Field Maps, Survey123, and QGIS, knowledge of open-source GIS platforms and tools, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
