GIS Consultant

Job Description Key Responsibilities: Implement and customize VertiGIS solutions Design and deliver client-specific solutions based on VertiGIS and Esri technologies Collaborate with clients, internal departments, and development teams to translate requirements into functional solutions Provide client consulting and application support Analyze domain-specific business processes (e.g., utilities, public administration, infrastructure management) and advise on appropriate workflows Support product operations and answer user questions, including conducting workshops and training sessions Participate in projects for the implementation, expansion, or migration of existing GIS systems Contribute improvement suggestions and support change requests and optimization initiatives Requirements Completed university degree in Geoinformatics, Geosciences, Surveying, Computer Science, or a comparable technical field Initial practical experience with GIS, preferably in Esri or VertiGIS environments Ability to analyze technical and domain-specific requirements and translate them into practical solutions Very good German and solid English language skills Preferred Qualifications (Not Mandatory) Basic knowledge of Python or relational databases Experience in project work or initial project management responsibilities Our Benefits Mobile/hybrid working arrangements Flexible working hours via flextime International work environment Attractive benefits (in addition to your salary, you receive up to €80 per month for personal extras—depending on location, e.g., meals, public transport, or other local offerings)
