You will become part of Sweco Digital, where around 150 colleagues work on software development and consulting services for clients in municipalities, government agencies, regions, and private companies across Denmark, Sweden, Norway, and Germany.
Specialized Team Focused on GIS and Data
We are, for example, responsible for the Spatial Suite platform—used by 40+ clients—as well as our LER (utility network registration) solution. You will join a creative and knowledge-sharing environment where we build new solutions in close collaboration with clients and subject-matter experts within Sweco. Demand for our competencies is high, and therefore we are now seeking a skilled consultant to further strengthen the team. Our office is located in Ørestad, but we work with clients nationwide.
About You
We imagine you have experience working with GIS and data in your professional life and ideally have solid knowledge of asset management and the utility sector. You are passionate about close client collaboration and act as a natural bridge between technical experts and end users. Presenting and driving projects comes naturally to you, and you thrive both with structured tasks and with solving complex challenges.
A concrete task could be translating a utility client’s needs into a concrete GIS solution, in collaboration with developers and domain experts.
You value open and constructive communication with both colleagues and clients. Your work style is structured, and you express yourself clearly and precisely—both in writing and verbally—in Danish and English.
Your Competencies
Must-haves:
Minimum 3 years of experience with GIS (ArcGIS, QGIS, or similar)
Strong SQL skills (PostgreSQL/PostGIS is a plus)
Experience with client-facing consulting or advisory work
Fluent Danish (written and spoken) and good English
A Plus If You Can:
Familiarity with Spatial Suite or similar WebGIS platforms
Experience with LER/utility network registration or the utility sector
FME, Python, or other scripting/automation skills
Understanding of WMS/WFS/REST APIs
