GIS Coordinator (State of Mexico)

Position Description The GIS Coordinator will be responsible for supervising one or more GIS teams on specific projects. Essential Functions Define and schedule work assignments. Support interview and evaluation of new GIS candidates. Prepare transmittals, drawing indexes, and review drawings issued for specific project milestones. Supervise timesheets. Supervise GIS project personnel. Coordinate squad checks between engineering, design, and GIS departments. Provide guidance and input on GIS department processes and workflows. Requirements / Qualifications 10–15 years of experience in GIS and/or technical drafting/design. Knowledge of GIS systems. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Prior supervisory experience in GIS and/or technical drafting/design environments. Familiarity with computer systems in engineering environments. Education Associate’s degree or certification from a technical school, or equivalent experience. Bachelor’s degree (BS) preferred.
