Title: GIS Data Processing & Platform Testing Intern (BIM 3D Focus, Guangzhou) Job Description (Source: Liepin): Responsibilities: Multi-Source Spatial Data Processing: - Process diverse spatial data including Revit BIM models, CAD planning drawings, SHP vector files, oblique photogrammetry-based 3D实景 models, cadastral/land-use thematic data, and remote sensing raster data. - Assist in populating spatial databases (PostgreSQL+PostGIS and domestic Dameng database), including data import, spatial index configuration, and standardization of data tables. BIM Model Lightweight Processing: - Convert RVT files to IFC/3D Tiles formats. - Perform model layering and hierarchical structuring. - Standardize component attributes. - Optimize models through polygon reduction. System Testing: - Develop test cases for the platform. - Record, track, and verify bug fixes. - Validate consistency between data and platform visualization. - Follow up on issue feedback and ensure full resolution闭环 (closed-loop resolution). Support Implementation: - Draft project coordination documentation and assist in functional development. Requirements: Currently enrolled in a relevant program (Surveying, GIS, Urban Planning, Civil Engineering, or Computer Science); availability for full-time internship of 6+ months. Foundational knowledge of GIS; proficiency in ArcGIS/QGIS. Prior exposure to BIM and Revit is preferred. Understanding of basic software testing principles; ability to independently map workflows and write test cases. Detail-oriented and patient; proficient in basic Microsoft Office tools; capable of writing simple test and data documentation. Willingness to support on-site project coordination in both Guangzhou and Shenzhen; strong learning agility.
