GIS Data Specialist

Key Responsibilities Create, manage, and maintain GIS databases and geospatial datasets. Perform spatial analysis, data interpretation, and GIS-based reporting. Process and analyze satellite imagery, including optical and microwave datasets. Develop thematic maps, spatial models, and geospatial visualizations. Conduct crop mapping, weather-related GIS analysis, and remote sensing studies. Handle large-scale GIS datasets and ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency. Required Skills Competencies Technical Skills Robust knowledge of R and Python for geospatial data analysis and automation. Hands-on experience with Google Earth Engine (GEE).
