GIS Developer

Overview Abacus Staffing & Business Solutions is seeking a skilled GIS Developer (PAN India) with 5–8 years of experience. In this role, you will develop and customize ArcGIS Pro Add-Ins, build custom solutions using Esri SDKs, create Python/ArcPy automation workflows, and perform APDM to UPDM data migration and validation for electric and gas utility domains. Key Responsibilities Develop and customize ArcGIS Pro Add-Ins and custom GIS applications. Design and build geospatial solutions utilizing Esri SDKs. Develop Python (ArcPy) scripts for automation, bulk data processing, LRS route/event management, and data validation. Create reusable geoprocessing tools, scripts, and automated workflows. Perform APDM to UPDM model conversion through scripted data migration and attribute mapping. Develop utilities for UPDM data creation, updates, and consistency checks. Support deployment and automation across ArcGIS Enterprise environments (ArcGIS Server & Portal). Optimize GIS applications for performance, scalability, and maintainability. Troubleshoot complex GIS application issues and participate in technical design discussions. Mandatory Skills & Experience Experience: 5 – 8 years of professional GIS development experience. Core GIS & Esri: ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Pro Add-Ins Development, Esri SDKs. Scripting & Automation: Python, ArcPy, geoprocessing tools, workflow automation. Preferred Domain: Experience in Electric Utilities and Gas Utilities (APDM/UPDM data models). Notice Period: Immediate joiners or candidates with 15 days or less notice period preferred. Why Join?
