GIS Developer (Remote)

For a key project in the Geographic Information Systems (GIS) domain, we are looking for a GIS Developer with experience in developing geospatial applications and integrating territorial data. Ideal Candidate Profile: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields. At least 3 years of experience in GIS/Geospatial development. Proficiency with Python for geographic data processing. Knowledge of GeoServer, Oracle Spatial, and FME. Strong command of Java 11+ and Spring Boot. Experience developing microservices. Implementation and integration of REST and SOAP services. Solid SQL knowledge. Experience with Angular 9+. Familiarity with Git/GitLab and Agile/Scrum methodologies. Experience developing web-based mapping components and interactive geospatial applications. Experience working in public administration environments. Knowledge of software quality tools and methodologies. Experience in the advanced management of databases and enterprise application environments. Work Location: Full Remote Contract Type: CCNL BPO Digital – Fixed-term contract with the potential for permanent employment. Salary: The position offers a gross annual salary (RAL) starting from €28,000. The final offer—including potential increases, additional benefits, and expense reimbursements—will be determined based on seniority, professional experience, and technical competencies assessed during the selection process.
