GIS ETL Developer & FME Automation Specialist (Hybrid)

Company: AtkinsRéalis Group Title: GIS ETL Developer & FME Automation Specialist (Hybrid) AtkinsRéalis is seeking an experienced geospatial professional to design, deploy, and maintain geospatial ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) workflows. You will work remotely or on-site in Canada, collaborating with GIS, CAD/BIM, and information management teams to ensure the reliability and efficiency of production data processing. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL pipelines for geospatial data using FME (Feature Manipulation Engine). Implement and manage FME Server and FME Flow for workflow automation and orchestration. Develop and optimize SQL queries and PostgreSQL/PostGIS database interactions. Write and maintain Python scripts to extend FME functionality and support automation. Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity across geospatial data workflows. Support cross-functional teams in integrating geospatial data into broader enterprise information systems. Required Qualifications: Proven experience with FME Desktop and FME Flow (FME Server). Strong proficiency in SQL and PostgreSQL/PostGIS. Solid Python programming skills for data processing and automation. Experience working in hybrid or remote environments with cross-disciplinary teams. Familiarity with GIS principles, data models, and geospatial standards.
