GIS Expert (BIM-GIS Digital Twin)

TEC (Transemirates Contracting LLC) is looking for a GIS Expert in Dubai, UAE to establish a Digital Twin foundation integrating GIS and BIM. Deliverables Geospatial database: unified File Geodatabase container for 3D pile layers, earthwork terrain surfaces and utility networks. 3D Scene Package: publish-ready web scene / layer package for ArcGIS Enterprise/Online visualising all subsurface elements in 3D. Data Schema Report: data dictionary, coding system and governance guidelines (PDF + Excel schema). Key responsibilities Phase 1 - Data engineering & QA: review design files (DWG, RVT, IFC); audit geotechnical reports (boreholes & soil reports); align coordinate systems with the approved UAE National Grid. Phase 2 - Digital modelling & database build: convert earthworks into high-accuracy terrain surfaces (TIN/raster); generate intelligent 3D smart pile objects from diameter, depth and specification schedules; populate attribute tables linked to spatial objects. Phase 3 - BIM-GIS integration: 3D georeferencing of architectural and structural BIM models; bidirectional linkage of BIM element IDs to the spatial map for spatial queries and cross-platform analysis. Requirements 2-7 years of relevant experience. Graduate degree (Engineering, GIS, Geomatics or related preferred). Proficiency in ArcGIS, GIS databases and BIM-GIS integration workflows. Familiarity with coordinate systems (UAE National Grid), 3D modelling and data schema development. Nationality per employer: Arab, GCC, European or Anglophone nationals.
