GIS Integrations Technical Consultant Position Overview We're partnering with a growing technology consulting firm seeking a GIS Integrations Technical Consultan t to help deliver enterprise GIS and engineering software solutions for utility, telecommunications, and public sector clients. In this role, you'll work directly with customers to implement, configure, and integrate GIS platforms with enterprise business systems while collaborating with technical teams to deliver successful project outcomes .This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, working closely with clients, and contributing to large-scale software implementation projects in a collaborative consulting environment . What You'll Lead and support enterprise GIS software implementation and integration project Work directly with clients to gather business and technical requirement Design and implement integrations between GIS platforms and enterprise application Develop integration solutions using C# .NET, Java, SQL, and related technologies Configure and support GIS environments while ensuring data quality and successful system integration Participate in solution design, testing, troubleshooting, deployment, and post-implementation support Facilitate client meetings, provide technical recommendations, and communicate project progress Collaborate with developers, consultants, business analysts, and project managers throughout the implementation lifecycle Document technical solutions and ensure deliverables align with client requirements and project objective Travel to customer sites as needed to support project delivery What We're Looking for 5+ years of consulting, software development, or technical implementation experience. Experience developing wi th C# . NET and/ or J ava Hands-on experience wi th ESRI Arc GI S, GE Smallwo rld, or comparable GIS platforms Experience working wi th Ora cl e, SQL, or other relational databases Background supporting utility or infrastructure-related GIS environments Experience with ETL processes, data migration, or data transformation Client-facing consulting experience with enterprise software implementations Ability to gather requirements, lead technical discussions, and translate business needs into technical solutions Willingness to travel up to 30% based on project needs Preferred Experience GIS Analyst or GIS Developer backgro System integration experience using APIs and web services Autodesk AutoCAD or engineering design software experie AutoCAD Map 3D, AutoCAD Electrical, Inventor, or FME experience. Agile software development methodology Electric utility distribution, transmission, or substation knowledge ArcMap, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise, geodatabases, and GIS data management experience What Makes You Successful Strong consulting and client relationship skills.
