We are offering a six-month internship beginning December 1, 2026 (or by mutual agreement), within the Office for Spatial Development and Geoinformation. Your Responsibilities Gain valuable insight into the wide range of GIS topics at the cantonal and municipal levels Support the project team in establishing and implementing the future geospatial data infrastructure, particularly in planning, conducting, and coordinating tests and acceptance procedures, as well as preparing documentation and training materials Contribute to data migration and the provision of various datasets and maps, closely coordinating with diverse stakeholder groups Your Profile Passion for geospatial data, maps, GIS applications, and IT in general Completed degree in Geography, Geomatics, Computer Science, or equivalent vocational training Strong IT skills and interest in participating in IT projects Prior experience with Geographic Information Systems Structured, precise, and independent work style Enjoy communicating and collaborating with a variety of stakeholders Excellent German language skills Motivation to apply academic knowledge in practice and gain initial professional experience in the field of geoinformation Our Benefits Insightful exposure to real-world geospatial practice Opportunity to contribute to and expand your expertise within a motivated team Collaboration with a broad range of stakeholders An attractive workplace equipped with modern infrastructure
