GIS Mapper (Field Data Collector)

Company Overview Terry Soot Management Group (TSMG) is a field data collection company founded in Europe in 2017. We collect data where automation is not feasible—counting features, capturing images and videos, recording audio, and scanning areas for every detail needed to enable more informed decision-making. Our field data collection teams are distributed across Europe and North America and are ready to take on new challenges. Project Objective The goal of this project is to collect imagery of streets, key landmarks, and public areas. Data collection is performed using vehicles equipped with roof-mounted 360° cameras that capture the surroundings and store the images on onboard computers. This data is later used to enhance one of the world’s most popular online mapping platforms. Data collectors will be assigned specific routes along public roads and areas, with a focus on business districts and historic sites. Due to adverse weather conditions, some areas may be revisited multiple times to ensure optimal image quality. The project is expected to last at least 8 months and cover various city/federal state zones. The ideal candidate enjoys driving, has strong local knowledge and awareness of traffic patterns, and demonstrates high reliability and responsibility. The expected schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 hours per day (40 hours/week). You may work more than 8 hours per day if desired.
