GIS Mapping SME

Overview Converse Placement Services is seeking experienced GIS Mapping professionals for an SME (Subject Matter Expert) position based in Hyderabad. This is an on-site role (Work From Office) requiring minimum 3+ years of relevant GIS mapping experience and hands-on proficiency with the Atlas tool. Immediate joiners preferred. Key Responsibilities Handle GIS mapping and spatial data-related activities. Perform map editing, digitization, feature extraction, and data validation. Review GIS data for accuracy, completeness, and quality. Provide SME-level support for mapping processes and resolve process-related queries. Perform quality checks and identify mapping/data discrepancies. Support process improvement and maintain defined quality and productivity standards. Guide and mentor team members on GIS mapping processes and tools. Requirements Minimum 3+ years of relevant GIS mapping experience. Strong hands-on experience in GIS mapping and digitization. Atlas tool experience is mandatory. Good knowledge of spatial data, map editing, and data validation. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. SME, Quality, or Process Specialist experience is an added advantage. Immediate joiners preferred.
