GIS Project Manager

POSITION For a major GIS (Geographic Information System) project, we are seeking a Project Manager with proven GIS experience to join a dedicated team responsible for managing and coordinating technological projects. YOUR ROLE The successful candidate will be involved in managing and coordinating project activities, liaising with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders, and contributing to the smooth progression of project deliverables. In particular, you will: Manage and coordinate GIS-related projects; Define and monitor project activities, milestones, timelines, and deliverables; Coordinate various roles involved in the project; Liaise with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders; Gather and analyze client requirements; Monitor project progress and manage potential issues; Support problem identification and solution definition; Coordinate supplier activities and monitor their progress; Facilitate communication between technical teams, clients, and stakeholders; Prepare reports and Status Assessment Letters (SAL) on project progress; Support project planning and activity organization. REQUIREMENTS At least 1 year of experience in Project Management or Project Coordination roles; Prior experience in the GIS domain; Solid understanding of core GIS concepts and tools; Strong ability to interact effectively with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders; Excellent problem-solving and issue management skills; Strong organizational and prioritization skills; Effective communication and interpersonal skills; Professional demeanor and ability to engage with diverse audiences; Proactivity and ability to work collaboratively in a team; Good command of English. Additional desirable attributes include autonomy in task management, coordination skills, a results-oriented mindset, and a proven aptitude for handling project-related challenges. LOCATION Milan / Hybrid work model.
