Our Business Unit, the Center for Earth Observation and Space Remote Sensing (COTESA), is a leader in applying advanced technologies for Earth observation and developing innovative solutions in areas such as Smart Cities, Smart Mobility, and urban planning. Key Responsibilities
Define and assign project team tasks
Maintain the product backlog
Plan and schedule project activities
Analyze functional and technical requirements
Monitor and verify project deliverables
Prepare project documentation
Analyze tender documents; prepare and draft public sector bids and proposals
Communicate with clients, deliver presentations, and conduct live demonstrations
Required Qualifications & Experience
Degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or a related field (e.g., higher-level degrees in Computer Science or similar)
At least 3 years of experience in project management roles with responsibilities as outlined above
Experience managing web portals and/or mobile applications
Familiarity with SCRUM methodologies, usability, accessibility, SEO, web design, and CMS platforms (e.g., Drupal, WordPress)
Experience working with public sector clients is highly valued
Knowledge and experience with Big Data architectures and solutions
Proficiency in software development architectures and technologies
Experience using project management and analysis/design tools
Fluent English (written and spoken) — not mandatory but strongly valued
Preferred Skills & Knowledge
GIS (Geographic Information Systems) knowledge and experience
Familiarity with the public sector, especially Smart City initiatives
Analytical mindset, proactivity, and strong teamwork skills
