Reporting to the EGM – Projects & Technical, this role would suit someone with around 4–5+ years' experience across GIS, spatial data, technical data or project information management who is looking to take the next step in their career and gain exposure to a developing gold mining project. You'll work across both GIS and project data , helping ensure technical, spatial, engineering and project information is well structured, controlled, accessible and accurate as the project progresses. The Role Working closely with the technical and project teams, your responsibilities will include: Providing day-to-day GIS support and managing spatial and technical datasets. Creating maps, imagery and GIS workspaces using geological, geographic and other project data. Supporting the management and control of technical, engineering and project information. Maintaining registers, version control, naming conventions and document control processes. Supporting QA/QC across GIS, geological and technical datasets. Helping establish and improve data management processes and workflows. Working with internal stakeholders to ensure project information is accurate, current and easily accessible. Supporting the organisation of data and documentation as the project progresses through engineering, development and construction. Working with IT and the broader project team to support data systems, access and storage requirements. About You We're looking for someone who is technically capable, organised and comfortable working across both GIS and project data. You will ideally bring: Around 5 years' experience in GIS, data control, spatial data and/or technical data management. A degree in GIS, Geography, Geology, Data Science, Computer Science or a related discipline. Working knowledge of QGIS and ArcGIS . Experience sourcing, compiling and managing technical or spatial datasets. An understanding of data management, QA/QC and document control practices. Strong attention to detail and an organised, methodical approach. Good communication skills and the ability to work with a range of technical stakeholders. Experience within mining, exploration, engineering or project development would be highly regarded. Exposure to MS SQL, DataShed, Acquire or similar technical databases would also be advantageous but is not essential. Why Consider This Opportunity?
