Position Mission Responsible for developing thematic mapping, processing and analyzing geospatial information, and managing GIS databases, providing technical support in the execution of environmental and mining projects. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Geographic Engineering, Geography, or related fields. 3 years of relevant experience in similar functions, preferably in consulting firms. Proficiency in GIS/SIG software, such as ArcGIS and/or QGIS. Knowledge in thematic cartography, geospatial data processing, and spatial analysis. Preferred experience in environmental, mining, or Environmental Management Instrument (IGA) projects. Desirable (non-exclusive) skills: - Python applied to GIS (ArcPy, PyQGIS) - Cartographic process automation - Satellite image processing and remote sensing - Geospatial data analysis using Artificial Intelligence - Development of geoprocessing tools Key Responsibilities: Prepare plans, maps, and thematic cartography for environmental and mining projects. Process, organize, and update geospatial databases. Generate thematic information using spatial analysis tools. Support collection and processing of geographic data for environmental baseline studies. Verify quality and accuracy of geospatial information. Provide technical support to the Geomatics team on project requirements. Coordinate with team members to execute activities and deliverables, offering technical support as needed. Communicate progress, results, and technical conclusions clearly, concisely, and assertively—both orally and in writing.
