GIS Specialist

The team focuses on asking the right questions and delivering structured, evidence-based guidance. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site GIS Specialist role based in New Cairo. The GIS Specialist will manage and analyze geospatial data to support real estate market assessments, property valuations, and investment scenario modeling. Daily responsibilities include collecting, cleaning, and organizing spatial datasets, creating and updating maps, and integrating GIS outputs with internal data platforms and reports. The role involves producing visualizations and spatial analysis that highlight location-based trends, risks, and opportunities for clients and internal stakeholders. The GIS Specialist will collaborate with analysts, advisors, and product teams to ensure geospatial insights are accurate, accessible, and aligned with Wallets’ data-driven decision-making approach. Qualifications Strong proficiency in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and handling Geospatial Data. Solid Data Management capabilities, including organizing, validating, and maintaining spatial and tabular datasets. Ability to design, produce, and interpret Maps and geospatial visualizations for technical and non-technical audiences. Demonstrated Analytical Skills for spatial analysis, market comparison, and location-based decision support. Experience with GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS) and relevant spatial databases or tools. Background in geography, urban planning, geomatics, data science, or a related field; relevant degree or equivalent experience preferred. Attention to detail, strong problem-solving mindset, and ability to document methods and maintain data quality standards. Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams in an on-site environment.
