GIS Specialist

Areli, Inc. is hiring a GIS Specialist to support the GIS Support Program at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. Work alongside the Senior GIS Specialist on enterprise GIS, spatial databases, Portal for ArcGIS, data validation, advanced spatial analysis, web mapping, and customized geospatial products. Responsibilities include ensuring data quality and management of the client’s enterprise GIS system (SQL database and Portal for ArcGIS); providing advanced GIS analysis, reports, and customized maps; supporting Arc Portal services; validating GIS records against Army Spatial Data Standards for Facilities, Infrastructure, and Environment (SDSFIE) and Army Quality Assurance Plans (QAPs); and helping develop training materials and contract deliverables. Proficiency sought: ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Server, ArcSDE, Portal for ArcGIS, Experience Builder, SQL Server, Python, and geospatial data management. Familiarity with SDSFIE, Army QAPs, DoD Real Property, GFEBS, or HQIIS is a plus. Qualifications: Bachelor’s preferred in GIS; minimum 2 years as a GIS Specialist; 2 years GIS application development; 2 years geospatial data analysis/updates with ArcGIS. Per government contracting requirements: US citizen, English fluency, maintain a National Agency Check Investigation. Employment: Full-time, onsite Fort Bragg, NC. Salary: $62,000–$68,000.
