We are looking for a versatile specialist with a focus on pipeline documentation! Join our "Network Services" team within the "Construction & Operations" division starting in October, in a permanent, part-time position (19.5 hours per week) as a GIS Specialist (m/f/d) for Network Documentation.
Your Responsibilities
GIS data acquisition (e.g., pipeline location, installations such as fiber-optic cables, KKS components)
Determination and naming of attribute data (e.g., for pipeline sections, valves, pipes, pipe fittings, special components, and welds)
Detailed research for spatial allocation of documents (e.g., pipe books, isometrics, expert reports)
Updating plans and overview maps for pipeline and cable infrastructure
Creation of network maps, contract annexes, and schematic overview diagrams using GIS and CAD
Provision of data (e.g., for projects, operations, and mandatory reporting)
Verification of existing documentation for completeness
Maintenance, optimization, and continuation of our archives
Contribution to database optimization within the GIS
Support in plotting network maps
Your Profile
Completed university degree in engineering or geosciences (minimum Bachelor’s in surveying, geodesy, geoinformatics, or geomatics) or equivalent qualified professional experience in a technical environment with GIS application (e.g., as a technical draftsman)
Knowledge and experience with modern network information systems (ideally Smallworld GIS and other GIS platforms), as well as proficiency in CAD systems, MS Office, and digital tools
Structured, independent work approach, combined with a highly precise and reliable working style
Strong quality awareness, teamwork skills, and good spatial visualization abilities
