GIS Specialist – Network Documentation

What You Drive Digitally document electricity, gas, hydrogen, and fiber-optic networks using the company’s Network Information System (NIS)/GIS. Ensure and continuously improve the quality of network documentation within the NIS/GIS. Review incoming documents—including network changes, surveying data, and sketch recordings—according to surveying and technical standards. Create and update specialized documentation for internal departments, authorities, and external contractors. Contribute to the development and maintenance of department-specific documentation guidelines. Actively participate in technical working groups and cross-functional initiatives. What Sets You Apart Successfully completed training or qualification as a Geomatics Engineer (a), Surveying Technician (a), Technical Draftsperson (a), Construction Draftsperson (a), or an equivalent qualification. Practical experience in capturing and processing geospatial data within network and GIS systems. Solid understanding of electrical engineering principles and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Strong teamwork skills, clear communication, and a proactive, engaged approach to collaboration. Initiative, sense of responsibility, and high level of commitment.
