GIS Team Leader Required – Lead a Professional GIS Team!

Company: one bpo Title: GIS Team Leader – Lead a Professional Team! We are looking for a GIS specialist with analytical thinking, proven leadership capabilities, and a desire to influence spatial data development, mapping, and analysis processes within a government organization. The position includes two days of remote work per week, a daily allowance of 25 ILS, and an education fund option. Key Responsibilities: Lead a team of 2–3 GIS operators and specialists. Execute GIS tasks and deliverables. Provide technical and professional support to various departments to fulfill their spatial data needs. Manage geographic information, layers, and GIS outputs. Organize and conduct training sessions and workshops in GIS methodologies. Input and update graphical and alphanumeric data in ARCGIS-based GIS systems. Prepare and produce reports and maps. Requirements: Senior GIS technician/technologist with over 10 years of professional experience in GIS services, or a bachelor’s/master’s degree with over 5 years of professional GIS experience, or an engineer/architect/master’s graduate in urban planning, or a licensed surveyor with over 10 years of professional GIS experience. Advantageous: Experience in writing mapping specifications, GIS layer structures, and symbology standards; providing professional guidance in GIS matters. Advantageous: Ability to prepare expert GIS-based opinions/reports. Advantageous: Experience working with ModelBuilder.
