GIS Technician (F/M/Nb)

Responsibilities Reporting to the functional manager, the candidate will be responsible for: Verifying and importing external database information into the GIS (SIT); Conducting field surveys of network services and installations using topographic and GPS equipment; Producing GIS-based graphic deliverables; Coordinating and verifying field survey activities performed by external companies; Drafting technical specifications for GIS data production to be imported into the SIT; Supporting the preparation of technical specifications and tender documents for survey services and surveying equipment procurement. Requirements Secondary school diploma in technical fields (e.g., surveying/geomatics) or a scientific degree; Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; Hands-on experience with GIS software (QGIS, ArcMap). Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in GIS and/or topographic surveying; Basic knowledge of hydraulics related to water supply and sewerage networks; Knowledge of English; Programming and database skills; Familiarity with database management.
