About the Role
Your Responsibilities
Lead the Geospatial Data Management unit both technically and disciplinarily
Manage, develop, and ensure the quality of network documentation for fiber-optic and infrastructure networks
Guarantee the ongoing maintenance of documentation in both in-house and partner-led projects
Be accountable for the quality, currency, and completeness of our GIS datasets
Prepare, provide, and analyze geospatial data, maps, and network-related information
Plan, implement, and oversee quality assurance measures for geospatial data
Analyze and interpret network-related data for internal and external stakeholders
Prepare reports, statements, and data analyses for authorities, associations, and group companies
Coordinate and manage collaboration with external service providers and internal staff
Continuously develop processes, standards, and digital solutions in geospatial data management
Identify optimization opportunities and successfully implement measures to enhance efficiency and drive digital transformation
Your Profile
Completed university degree in surveying, geoinformatics, geodesy, engineering, or a comparable qualification
Several years of professional experience in geospatial data management, GIS environments, or network documentation
Proven experience in team leadership or technical team coordination
Experience with documentation of telecommunications, energy, or utility networks is highly desirable
Familiarity with GIS systems such as Smallworld PNI, QGIS, or Smallworld GeoSpatial Analysis
Proven ability to collaborate successfully with service providers, authorities, and project partners
Strong analytical thinking and a high affinity for data and processes
Combines entrepreneurial and commercial understanding with structured working methods, high self-initiative, and strong communication, organizational, and implementation skills
